Dr. Sara Ford is a board-certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist with more than 30 years of experience providing advanced diagnostic and medical care for complex canine and feline diseases. Throughout her distinguished career, she has practiced at premier referral hospitals across the United States and is recognized for her compassionate, evidence-based approach to patient care.
Dr. Ford has extensive expertise in endocrinology, diabetes management, gastrointestinal disorders, immune-mediated diseases, liver and kidney disease, and other challenging internal medicine conditions. She has a special interest in medical oncology and has provided comprehensive oncology care for small animals throughout her career.
In addition to advanced medical management, Dr. Ford performs a wide range of minimally invasive diagnostic procedures, including endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and other advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques, allowing for accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plans for complex cases.
A dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Ford has developed specialty training programs and mentored numerous interns and residents throughout her career. She has also authored multiple scientific publications and is widely respected for her clinical expertise, particularly in endocrinology, diabetes management, and gastrointestinal disease.
