Dr. Jourdan McPhetridge is a board certified surgeon. She attended veterinary school at University of Prince Edward Island (Canada), and completed a rotating internship, small animal surgery residency, and surgical research fellowship at North Carolina State University. Following residency training, Dr. McPhetridge served as an assistant professor at Cornell University and North Carolina State University. She is passionate about student and house officer training and has special interests in fluorescence-guided and thoracic surgery. Dr. McPhetridge enjoys the collaborative environment at VESHPF where she can provide advanced surgical care with the support of other specialists and veterinarians. When not in the OR, Dr. McPhetridge shares her home with her husband and two huskies, Wilma and Wyatt.
